                  Macula degeneration

                   

                  Macular degeneration is an eye disease that often progresses rapidly and can lead to blindness. It is classified as an autoimmune disease on the one hand, but above all as a degenerative disease. A distinction is made between the rarer "wet macular degeneration", in which there is inflammatory swelling, and "dry" (degenerative) macular degeneration, which is around 4-5 times more common and affects slightly older people.  

                   

                  In the long-term program required, the biological causes are clarified at the beginning. In addition, intensive therapy is started to slow down the development of the disease. 

                  Recommendation: Initial treatment can last a week.

                   
                  However, a 2-day clarification and education treatment with an intensive start of therapy can also be carried out.
